Methodologies to Score MiCA White Papers
This MiCA Crypto Alliance methodology document establishes the second edition of the MiCA Crypto Alliance methodology for white paper evaluation and scoring. The methodology establishes a reproducible rules-based algorithm for white paper benchmarking based on CIR 2024/2984 and CDR 2025/421 formal compliance, CDR 2025/422 conformance, and XBRL taxonomy adherence under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation.
Methodologies to Calculate Sustainability Indicators under MiCA
The MiCA Crypto Alliance methodology establishes standardised approaches for calculating and reporting environmental sustainability indicators under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation. Aligned with Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422, it defines consistent methodologies for metrics such as energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, water use, and electronic waste, enabling transparent and comparable sustainability disclosures across crypto-assets and service providers.
MiCA White Papers
Access published and referenced MiCA-compliant white papers supported by the MiCA Crypto Alliance. These papers provide practical guidance on disclosure requirements, liability frameworks, and regulatory alignment under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, and may be available in iXBRL format for machine-readable publication where applicable.
MiCA ESG Datasheets
Access verified ESG datasheets detailing the environmental impact of blockchain networks and digital assets under MiCA. Each datasheet covers 8–16 mandatory and 15–23 optional environmental metrics across projects and asset types, in line with Article 60 and Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422.
