The MiCA Crypto Alliance is expanding its public tools. Following the White Paper Tracker, we are launching the MiCA CASP Tracker, a searchable directory of every Crypto-Asset Service Provider authorised under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation.
What the tracker does
The MiCA CASP Tracker brings together publicly available authorisation data from the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) Register into a structured, searchable directory of authorised CASPs across the European Union. Users can search by country, competent authority, licensed service or company, and identify authorised firms, the Member State where they are licensed, their competent authority and the crypto-asset services they are authorised to provide.
Where the data comes from
The tracker is built on publicly available information published in the official ESMA Register. The Alliance monitors the register continuously and updates the tracker as new authorisations become available, so the directory keeps pace with a register that ESMA republishes weekly. The tracker includes only firms that have received authorisation as CASPs under MiCA and appear in the official register. Firms operating under other frameworks, such as those dealing with digital assets under MiFID, are not included.
What each profile shows
Depending on the information published by ESMA, each profile may include the company name and LEI, the country of authorisation, the National Competent Authority, the authorisation status, the MiCA authorisation date, and the licensed crypto-asset services. MiCA defines ten regulated crypto-asset services that authorised CASPs may provide, and the tracker identifies which of these each firm has been authorised to perform. That makes it straightforward to compare providers and understand the scope of their licences.
Why it matters now
The authorised perimeter under MiCA is not static. The register changes each week as national competent authorities feed new approvals in, and the composition of the licensed market continues to shift. In that environment, a searchable view of who is licensed, where, and for which services supports verification, due diligence and compliance work across the sector. Whether the question is confirming a counterparty's status, mapping the competitive landscape in a given Member State, or checking which services a firm may lawfully provide, the tracker turns a continuously changing register into a structured reference.
