The MiCA Crypto Alliance is pleased to welcome Venga as a new member of the Alliance. As part of this collaboration, the Alliance is supporting Venga with MiCA-aligned ESG and sustainability data to support compliance with the environmental disclosure requirements introduced under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation.

About Venga

Venga is a European crypto-asset service provider (CASP) offering a regulated crypto application with an integrated custodial wallet. Founded in Spain and headquartered in Barcelona, the company operates with a primary focus on the Catalan and Spanish markets while providing services internationally, subject to applicable regulatory restrictions.

The Venga app enables users to buy, sell, swap, send, and store crypto-assets through a single interface. It currently supports the Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tron networks, with a limited set of supported assets, and includes on-chain Ethereum staking functionality. Venga positions regulatory compliance and user protection as central elements of its operating model.

Why this matters

MiCA introduces mandatory sustainability disclosure obligations for CASPs, requiring the publication of standardised environmental information on their websites in line with Article 66(5) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422. These requirements are designed to support consistency, coherence, and comparability of sustainability information across the European crypto-asset market.

For consumer-facing platforms operating as CASPs in the EU, meeting these obligations involves preparing structured, regulator-ready sustainability data that can be published in a clear and comparable format. Fragmented or asset-by-asset reporting approaches increase compliance risk and operational complexity.

Through its standardised ESG datasheets, the MiCA Crypto Alliance supports CASP members such as Venga by providing verified, methodology-backed sustainability disclosures prepared in accordance with the delegated regulation. The datasheets cover mandatory and optional environmental indicators and are delivered in a consistent, single-file format designed to support comparability across crypto-assets and service providers.

This approach reduces the compliance burden for CASPs while strengthening the credibility and transparency of sustainability disclosures as MiCA implementation progresses.

"As a VASP registered with the Bank of Spain and with our MiCA authorisation application underway, operating within established EU regulatory frameworks is central to Venga’s model. Working with the MiCA Crypto Alliance on MiCA-aligned ESG disclosures supports our commitment to providing transparent, standardised sustainability information in line with evolving European requirements." - Ana Carolina Oliveira, Chief Compliance Officer, Venga

Looking ahead
