MiCA Whitepaper Tracker
The MiCA Whitepaper Tracker is a reliable and continuously updated resource for accessing publicly available Whitepapers submitted under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation. It provides structured, real-time information on each crypto-asset, including issuer name, asset details, publication date, whitepaper status, ESMA registration (where applicable), and direct access to the original documentation. The tracker is fully searchable, with filter and sort functions designed for ease of use by regulators, market participants, and the wider public.
MiCA came into force in June 2023 and became fully applicable in January 2025. A transition period initiates thereafter, during which crypto-asset service providers operating under national frameworks prior to 30 December 2024 may continue activities while seeking MiCA authorisation.
From July 2026 at the latest (or earlier if Member States establish shorter grandfathering periods), full compliance with MiCA will be mandatory for all crypto-assets offered or traded within the EU. MiCA whitepapers are mandatory from July 2024 for e-money and asset referenced tokens, from January 2025 for newly offered OTH crypto assets or crypto assets seeking admission to trading for the first time after this date, and from January 2028 whitepapers become mandatory for all crypto assets.
This tracker forms part of broader efforts to support regulatory visibility, industry alignment, and consistent implementation across jurisdictions. It reflects the principles of the MiCA Crypto Alliance—an open, industry-led initiative promoting transparent, machine-readable disclosures and standardised practices in line with MiCA. More information on the Alliance is available at micacryptoalliance.com.
